KPMG LLP is seeking a Technology Assurance Associate to join our Audit and Assurance team in New York. Start Season & Year: Summer/Fall 2027; earliest graduation date Nov 2026, latest July 2027. You will help conduct IT audits, analyze systems, and support AI-driven data insights for financial services clients.

Qualifications

• Pursuing and/or completed a bachelor’s degree in MIS, AIS or equivalent in the past 12 months.
• Preference for CPA progress or candidates pursuing CPA licensure; CISA helpful.
• GPA of 3.0+ preferred; exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or Workday.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, data analysis, and quick learning of KPMG tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct IT audits and support capital markets by ensuring accuracy of client financial information.
• Prepare clear documentation of client processes and IT systems, identifying IT risks and controls.
• Evaluate risks, controls and compliance against leading practices and frameworks to inform recommendations.
• Execute testing of IT and automated controls with clear procedures and results; document outcomes.
• Support data driven audits using AI, BOTs, dashboards, Excel, Alteryx, SQL and Power BI.
• Assist in digital transformation reviews, project management, and client communication.
