KPMG LLP is seeking a Technology Assurance Intern to join our Audit and Assurance team in New York City. This Early Career opportunity targets students pursuing MIS, Accounting Information Systems, or related fields and offers exposure to IT audits, data analytics, and AI-enabled testing methods.

As an intern, you will work with Excel, SQL, Power BI, Alteryx, and other tools to support testing of IT controls, document processes, and assist with client engagements while developing professional

Qualifications

• Enrolled in college or recent graduate in MIS/AIS or related field
• Must complete degree requirements before CPA eligibility (if applicable)
• GPA 3.0+ preferred
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/Workday) preferred
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and data analysis

Responsibilities

• Assist IT audits for capital markets and help ensure financial information accuracy
• Document client processes and IT control testing with guidance
• Support data-driven audits using AI, BOTs, dashboards, Excel, Alteryx, SQL and Power BI
• Utilize technology and tools to support engagement activities
