The Department of Early Childhood Office Manager is an important position in the Early Childhood Department and regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment on matters of business significance.
The primary duties are to support the daily operations of theEarly Childhood Department. This position provides guidance and support for the department office professionals, facilitates department ordering, serves as department timekeeper, responds to families and community requests andother duties to support the work of the department. It is important that this position serve as a liaison with theEarly Childhood leadership team and support staff to foster a collaborative environment within theEarly Childhood department.
The Department of Early Childhood Office Manager supports the Director of Early Childhood and regularly exercises discretion and judgment on matters of department significance. This position is primarily responsible for coordinating department and office operations, including but limited to support for department office professionals, payroll, ordering and accounts receivable, staff attendance, and other duties and administrative support as may be requested by the Director. This position requires the ability to provide excellent customer service, work independently, collaboratively, and creatively, and to establish professional and respectful rapport with families, staff, community members and visitors. Knowledge of Synergy, CORE, Apptegy, Zoom, Excel, Word, Power Point, Google systems, or willing to become proficient in their use.
Education Level:Associate degree or equivalent work experience required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Required Experience: A minimum of three years experience as an office professional, executive assistant or office manager. Ability to work with multiple administrators to achieve greater productivity and efficiency is essential. Excellent customer service skills and ability to respond to families and community members.
