The LPS Federal Programs department is seeking an Office Professional to provide comprehensive clerical and administrative support for multiple district programs. This vital role directly supports the TitleI-C, McKinney-Vento (MKV), Youth Development Team (YDT), Indian Education, and BilingualLiaison programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and word processing skills, with a proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and collaborate effectivelywithin a team. Because theFederal Programs department servesa diverse community, a successful applicant must be skilled at working positivelyand inclusivelywith staff and families from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/SKILLS:

  • Regular, dependable, in person attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Knowledge and proper execution of district policies and procedures. Knowledge of programs, departments or locations served.
  • Communication/Language Skills: Possess and demonstrate effective oral, written and listening skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various documents.
  • Reasoning Skills: Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in various forms. Make decisions in a timely manner, utilizing input from others as appropriate.
  • Human Relations Skills: Establish and maintain effective, professional working relationships with employees, students and community while maintaining the appropriate level of confidentiality.
  • Computer Skills: Knowledge of computer systems including but not limited to time and attendance system, information systems (student and/or financial as appropriate) and the policies/regulations associated with such usage. Ability to use the following programs: MS Word and Excel.

$24.29/hr is the hourlypay ratefor thisposition.
