DuraServ is seeking a Technician Apprentice in Stow, OH. You’ll learn on the job alongside experienced technicians, handling mechanical and electrical systems on commercial dock and door equipment.

This program offers hands-on training and paid progress, with a clear path to a skilled trades career while you earn from day one. You'll gain practical experience, participate in the ADVANCE training, and build a resume through hands-on tasks, safety compliance, and developing customer communication.

Qualifications

• Valid, current state-issued driver's license — you'll be traveling to customer sites daily
• Ability to meet physical demands: frequent standing, bending, ladder use, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly
• Willingness to participate in DuraServ's ADVANCE training program

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, service, and maintenance of dock and door equipment under guidance
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems on rolling doors and dock equipment
• Learn to use hand tools, power tools, and basic fabrication equipment
• Study wiring diagrams and documentation with experienced teammates
• Maintain a safe job site and follow OSHA and PPE standards
• Document service activities and parts used accurately
• Develop customer communication and explain service needs clearly
• Participate in the ADVANCE training program daily
