Job summary

DuraServ is seeking an Apprentice Technician in Cincinnati, OH to learn through hands-on work on commercial dock and door systems. You will assist experienced technicians with installation, service, and maintenance while developing practical mechanical and electrical skills.

You’ll participate in the ADVANCE training program, follow safety protocols, and build a career with opportunities for growth in the trades.

Qualifications

• Mechanically curious and eager to learn on the job.
• Able to follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Willingness to participate in ADVANCE training program.
• Physically capable of standing, bending, climbing and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, service, and maintenance of commercial dock and door equipment under guidance of experienced technicians.
• Perform basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting tasks.
• Learn to safely use hand tools, power tools, and basic fabrication equipment to support installation and repair tasks.
• Study wiring diagrams and documentation with the team.
