Job summary

DuraServ is seeking an Apprentice Technician to install, maintain, and repair commercial dock and door equipment at customer locations. You will learn and assist with basic diagnostics, read manuals and diagrams, and support experienced technicians on installations and service calls.

You will develop hands-on skills in mechanical and electrical systems, tools handling, and safety practices while participating in ADVANCE training and contributing to team priorities in a fast-paced service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Trade school certificate or diploma acceptable.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with welding, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, service, and maintenance of commercial dock and door equipment under supervision.
• Learn basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting tasks.
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, and basic fabrication equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean job site and follow safety policies.
