Job summary

DuraServ is seeking mechanically minded individuals to start a hands-on career as Technician Apprentices. You will learn by doing, on customer sites, under the supervision of veteran technicians, with structured ADVANCE training and income from day one.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and professional development as you gain skills in mechanical and electrical systems and grow into a skilled technician within the DuraServ network.

Qualifications

• Able to learn on-site installation, service, and maintenance of dock/door equipment.
• Willingness to participate in ADVANCE training program.
• Valid, current state-issued driver’s license; travel to customer sites daily.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, service, and maintenance of commercial dock and door equipment under guidance.
• Participate in basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting tasks.
• Learn to safely use hand tools, power tools, and basic fabrication equipment.
• Document service activities and observations accurately.
