Job summary

Power3 Solutions is seeking a Technical Writer to develop and maintain technical documents for DoD electronic equipment and software at Fort Meade, MD. You will create end-user guides, installation and configuration docs, and training materials, coordinating with engineers and program teams.

The role requires TS/SCI with Poly and a strong background in technical writing, Confluence, and Jira, with the ability to produce clear materials for diverse audiences in a high-security environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a technical writer in programs of similar scope.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required.
• Experience creating how-to guides, SOPs, and technical documentation.
• Strong Confluence skills.
• Jira familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents for hardware/software.
• Write and edit end-user guides and implementation manuals.
• Produce documentation from engineering drawings and source materials.
• Collaborate with developers and engineers to produce training materials.
• Coordinate layout and design of documents and maintain library.
• Research and translate highly technical material into reader-friendly formats.
