Job summary

BTS Software Solutions is seeking a Technical Writer II with an active TS/SCI w/ POLY to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role focuses on creating, reviewing, and maintaining technical documents for software and systems, including installation, configuration, and user guides.

You will work with developers and engineers to produce high-quality documentation and end-user materials, covering all phases of documentation for DoD electronic equipment and related programs.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of experience as a TW in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required.
• Four (4) years of additional TW experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents.
• Writes and edits technical documentation for hardware and software installation, configuration, and how-to guides.
• Produces implementation guides, end-user guides, and training materials for DoD programs.
