Job summary

NE Solutions in Hanover, MD is seeking a Technical Writer 2 to support the Field Engineering Office across 80+ locations by producing clear, accurate documentation for hardware, software, and operational procedures.

The role requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph and a technical degree with several years of writing experience; you will collaborate with developers and engineers to create installation guides, manuals, and training materials.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
Six (6) years of TW experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents for software and systems engineering, operations, testing, and user documentation.
Write and edit technical documentation for hardware and software including installation, configuration, and how-to guides.
Create code documentation for software; produce implementation guides and end-user manuals; provide data definition and publication documentation.
Work with developers to produce quality documentation and training materials.
Coordinate layout and design of documents.
Prepare reports, responses, and briefer materials for wide audiences.
