Job summary

Leidos is seeking a seasoned Technical Writer to prepare, review, revise, and maintain documentation for complex hardware and software systems. You will translate highly technical information for engineers, developers, and end users, contributing to manuals, installation guides, and data-related documentation.

The role supports DoD and cryptologic programs, leveraging NSA DS-89 standards and collaborating with engineers to build clear, accessible materials. A TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Qualifications

Six (6) years of Technical Writing experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
Four (4) additional years of Technical Writing experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

Technical Documentation Development: prepare, review, revise, and maintain docs throughout lifecycle.
Technical Research & Collaboration: research technical subject matter and translate into clear docs.
Publications, Reports & Briefings: prepare reports and coordinate layout for publications.
Mission & DoD Documentation: produce DoD docs, user manuals, and cryptologic program docs.
