Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Technical Writer to partner with intelligence systems engineering to generate and maintain engineering and developer-focused technical documentation. You will work with developers and users to understand product usage and gaps, producing clear, well-structured content at scale.

You will join a small, startup-like team, shaping Anduril’s product documentation from the ground up, ensuring high-quality artifacts across compliance, guides, release notes, and API docs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years creating technical documentation for diverse technical audiences.
• Ability to interpret complex software and hardware docs and certifications.
• Clear and persuasive writing for technical to lay audiences.
• Mission-first mindset focused on defense capabilities.
• Self-starter who works independently in unstructured environments.
• Experience translating concepts into user-friendly docs with SMEs.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted documentation tools is a plus.
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Generate, review, and edit user-focused documentation of high quality.
• Cover full development lifecycle documentation from planning to deployment.
• Collaborate with engineering to ship usable, customer-focused guides.
• Develop and maintain docs toolkit, including style guides and lifecycle workflows.
• Partner with business units to understand users and products.
