Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Technical Writer to partner with product and operations teams to deliver accurate, updated documentation for complex hardware and software systems.

You will organize engineering and program delivery efforts, engage subject matter experts, and produce user manuals, procedures, and release notes. A foundational role set to tone, voice, and quality across all written artifacts.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical documentation experience for complex hardware/software.
• Experience reading engineering docs (schematics, CAD, software specs).
• Experience building content in Word, XML, DITA, etc.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical subjects clearly.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active security clearance.
• Willingness to relocate onsite to Quincy, MA.

Responsibilities

• Generate, review, and edit user-focused docs with engineers and operations.
• Prioritize tasks and drive decisions using data and stakeholder input.
• Communicate risks clearly to leadership and manage expectations.
• Contribute to living documentation culture and onboarding future team members.
