Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a seasoned Technical Writer to partner with our intelligence systems engineering team to generate and maintain engineering and developer-focused technical documentation. You will work closely with developers and users to understand how products are developed and used, identify gaps, and close them with clear written artifacts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of demonstrated excellence generating technical documentation for various levels of technical audiences for a variety of product types.
• Reading and interpreting software and hardware user documentation for complex technical products as well as a highly structured certification process.
• Clear and persuasive writing and in-person communication skills for a variety of audiences from extremely technical to lay person.

Responsibilities

• Generate, review, and edit documentation, that is user-focused and of the highest quality.
• Documentation covers full development lifecycle – from planning and design to technical configuration, deployment, and integration.
• Work with engineering to ship user-friendly documentation that informs, instructs, and contributes to a robust user experience.
• Contribute to Anduril’s technical writing toolkit, working on style guides and lifecycle review processes.
• Build partnerships across the business to understand users and products.
