Job summary

Anduril Intelligence Systems (AIS) seeks a technical writer to partner with our intelligence systems engineering team to generate and maintain engineering and developer-focused technical documentation. You will work with developers and users to understand how products are developed and used, identify gaps, and raise the quality bar for all written artifacts.

You will help shape documentation infrastructure, contribute to style guides, and ensure the user has the right information across guides,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience generating technical documentation for varied audiences and product types.
• Ability to read and interpret software/hardware docs and follow structured processes.
• Strong writing and in-person communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Customer- and mission-first mindset with ability to work autonomously in unstructured environments.
• Collaborate with engineers, SMEs, and PMs to translate complex concepts into clear docs.

Responsibilities

• Generate, review, and edit engineering and developer-focused documentation of the highest quality.
• Cover full development lifecycle documentation from planning to deployment and integration.
• Produce user-friendly docs that inform, instruct, and enhance user experience.
• Contribute to the technical writing toolkit, including style guides and lifecycle processes.
• Partner with engineering, product management, and business teams across all product phases.
