Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Technical Writer to partner with our intelligence systems engineering team to generate and maintain engineering and developer-focused technical documentation. The team strongly believes that documentation is a key part of the product development process.

In this role you will work closely with developers and users to understand how products are developed as well as how they are used, identify gaps in understanding, and use documentation to close the gap.

Qualifications

• Experience generating technical documentation for diverse technical audiences.
• Clear and persuasive writing with strong in-person communication.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into user-friendly docs.
• Willingness to work autonomously in unstructured environments.
• Basic software development practices applied to documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Generate, review, and edit documentation focused on users.
• Cover full development lifecycle—from planning to deployment.
• Collaborate with engineering to ship user-friendly docs.
• Contribute to style guides and the docs lifecycle processes.
• Build partnerships across the business to understand users and products.
