Job summary

Anduril Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join the Test & Evaluation group. You will partner with test engineers, pilots, and SMEs to create and maintain development and operation-focused documentation that meets the highest quality standards.

You will shape the documentation toolkit, ensure compliance with military writing standards, and operate with autonomy in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment requiring a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, communications, linguistics, or related field. May substitute equivalent technical experience.
• 5+ years of demonstrated excellence generating technical documentation.
• Experience in Aerospace industry and/or DOD.
• Familiarization with military writing standards and verbiage (412TW-TIH-20-01).
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering documentation.
• Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, XML, and Visio.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; autonomy with deadlines.
• Active SECRET security clearance; Top Secret preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build partnerships across the business to understand our users and our products, with focus on hardware and its supporting software components used by the Test & Evaluation group and operators.
• Generate, review, and edit documentation, that is Test & Evaluation-focused and of the highest quality
• Research highly technical subject matter, organize information from multiple sources, and express technical information clearly to a wide audience
• Contribute to Anduril’s technical writing toolkit, developing style guides and the documentation lifecycle and review process
