Job summary

Dexis is seeking a Technical Writer II to support a large Army test and evaluation program. The role covers data collection, technical writing, and editorial review, with on-site work in Aberdeen, Maryland and travel to CONUS/OCONUS as needed.

You will develop, write, edit, and review publications, ensure compliance with government standards, and collaborate with engineers and program staff to deliver clear, accurate materials on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3+ years of technical writing experience in RDT&E programs.
• Proficient in English with clear, concise writing and editing skills.
• Ability to apply government publication standards and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Review and edit technical writing projects for accuracy and clarity.
• Develop, write, and edit reports, manuals, briefs, and instructional materials.
• Apply regulations, standards, and publication practices to materials.
• Coordinate layout, multimedia elements, and publication formats.
• Maintain records of work products and revisions.
• Support speeches, articles, and public relations releases as needed.
