Job summary

Dexis seeks a Computer Operator II to support a large-scale Army test and evaluation program based in Aberdeen, Maryland. The role covers data collection, technical writing, computer operations, and administrative support to execute the government’s test mission.

You will prepare processing requirements, maintain test projects, and generate reports using Cognos and other tools, with travel to CONUS/OCONUS as needed. A Secret clearance and strong English skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in a computer-related field or equivalent experience with data-entry tools.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Must possess a high school diploma.
• Must be proficient in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English.
• Must be proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Support functional users of computer systems by accepting processing requirements and preparing them for execution.
• Set up and maintain test projects and suggest improvements to customized electronic data-entry forms.
• Use web-enabled data management systems such as ODIN and VDLS for tracking and monitoring.
• Use Cognos to query databases and produce professional reports based on user requirements.
• Seek technical guidance before working with users and other agencies to formulate requirements for potential system modifications.
