Job summary

Dexis seeks an Editorial Technician III to support a large Army test and evaluation program with data collection, technical writing, and editorial review. Work is onsite in Aberdeen, Maryland, with travel as required across CONUS and OCONUS.

The role involves ensuring accuracy, consistency, and proper presentation of technical publications. Responsibilities include proofreading, resolving inconsistencies with authors, and providing technical assistance on varied document styles.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience in editorial roles or technical writing, or a degree-based path with years of experience.
• Proficient in advanced Microsoft Word features and Adobe Acrobat.
• Proficient in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English.
• Able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical documents with terminology, formats, and clarity.
• Interpret text for internal consistency across documents.
• Verify factual information by locating sources.
• Identify and resolve inconsistencies between text, charts, and graphics.
• Restructure sentences for clarity without changing meaning.
