Dexis seeks an Editorial Technician II to support a large Army test program. This role covers data collection, technical writing, range scheduling, and editorial review to ensure accurate, well-presented documents across varied materiel categories.

Primary onsite work will be in Aberdeen, MD, with CONUS and OCONUS travel as required. The position requires strong editing, proofreading, English proficiency, and the ability to manage complex terminology and multimedia formats.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience as Editorial Technician or Technical Writer, or applicable degrees with related writing/editing experience.
• Proficiency in advanced features of MS Word and Adobe Acrobat.
• Must be fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication.
• Must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Responsabilités

• Edit documents for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and format.
• Revise text for clarity and logical flow, improve presentation order.
• Determine publication format and prepare specifications for documents.
• Verify factual accuracy and consistency with sources.
• Check figures, tables, and illustrations for alignment with text.
• Apply technical terminology and multimedia file handling.
• Convert photo/graphic files and insert links/media as needed.
• Proofread final copy and ensure editorial changes are implemented.
• Safeguard passwords and access to office files and programs.
