Job summary

Global Connect Technologies is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to develop and maintain SOPs, manuals, and troubleshooting guides for AR/VR data collection and hardware operations.

You will translate complex engineering requirements into clear, actionable documentation for operators, and collaborate with EHS for safety procedures, while maintaining content in Confluence and other knowledge bases. Proficiency with diagramming and video tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Technical Writing experience.
• 2+ years supporting Hardware, Manufacturing, Operations, or AR/VR environments.
• Experience creating SOPs, user manuals, troubleshooting guides, and procedural documentation.
• Strong documentation skills using Confluence, Google Workspace, MadCap Flare, or similar tools.
• Experience with Snagit, Visio, Lucidchart, Photoshop, or similar diagramming tools.
• Ability to understand hardware systems and document technical processes accurately.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Document safety procedures in collaboration with EHS teams.

Required Skill

• s5+ years of Technical Writing experience
