Job Description

Technical Writer is needed to documented experience in developing IT Operational processes and procedure.

The candidate will be primarily developing SOP’s for many of the operational groups. Essentially meeting with technical managers to understand the current operational processes used and document them. A recent audit identified many areas that do not have this type of documentation and we need to have it developed. A general high level understanding of what IT service delivery is (providing network connectivity, desktop support, hosting services for example) and the ability to translate and document how our staff deliver and manage these services from a process viewpoint.

Required Skills:

• Documented experience in developing IT Operational processes and Procedure
• Experience meeting with managers to gather information on current processes to effectively document the process
• Knowledge of IT Service Delivery(network connectivity, desktop support, hosting services, etc.) and the ability to translate and document the process.
