Job summary

Valve Sales, Inc. (part of Ovation Holdings, Inc.) seeks a Technical Sales Specialist to support customers and account managers. This onsite role performs technical inside sales, supports field teams, and maintains inventory and facility efficiency.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with some overtime and no travel required. The position demands 3–5 years of sales experience, strong product knowledge of valves and API/ASME/ANSI standards, plus excellent communication and problem‑solving

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of customer sales experience required, industrial, valve or oil&gas experience a plus.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email and in person.
• Provide technical guidance on valve selection, specifications and applications.
• Prepare and follow up on quotes, sales orders and purchase orders for new products, repairs and service work.
• Work with manufacturers and vendors on special orders and technical support.
• Confirm product availability and lead times with the purchasing and inventory teams.
• Help customers troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Process field service tickets for customer billing, and coordinate upcoming field service work with the service supervisor.
• Build strong customer relationships that drive repeat business.
• Identify upsell opportunities and recommend alternative solutions.
• Support the outside sales team with customer account management.
