Job summary

GP Academy at Gregory Poole seeks an experienced Technical Training Manager to lead development and execution of technical training and workforce initiatives across the LIFT Division. This role reports to the GP Academy Director and supervises four direct reports.

You will identify skill gaps, design practical training solutions, and drive measurable improvements in operations by leveraging LMS, OEM programs, and cross-functional partnerships with supervisors and subject-matter experts.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years in heavy equipment training or technical training leadership.
• Experience designing and delivering technical training programs and curricula.
• Strong collaboration with operations, SMEs, and OEM partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, delivery, and maintenance of technical training programs and materials.
• Oversee LMS usage, learning pathways, and training records.
• Partner with engineers, operations leaders, and vendors to ensure accurate content.
• Establish annual training plans, budgets, and measurable objectives.
• Monitor training effectiveness with KPIs and adjust programs as needed.
• Manage a team of direct reports and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety, OEM requirements, and industry standards.
