Job summary

GKN Aerospace is seeking a Technical Training Manager to lead the development and execution of a world-class technical training program for aerospace manufacturing operations. This role blends deep engineering knowledge with instructional design to build workforce capability across operators, technicians, apprentices, and engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial technology or engineering.
• 7–10 years in manufacturing/engineering, preferably aerospace.
• Experience designing and delivering technical training programs.
• U.S. Person (ITAR) and able to obtain DoD security clearance if required.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the site technical training strategy.
• Conduct skills gap assessments and create training roadmaps.
• Lead and develop a team of trainers if applicable.
• Design curricula, assessments, and certification pathways.
• Deliver classroom and hands-on training and onboarding.
