NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, CA, seeks a Training Specialist to lead the Western Regional Training Center's instructional design and training delivery. You will develop courseware, upgrade facilities, and mentor instructors.

Responsibilities include designing and delivering complex technical training across classroom, virtual, and blended formats; collaborating with SMEs; and advancing training effectiveness and workforce capability.

Qualifications

• Design and deliver complex technical training.
• Experience delivering instruction in group and one-on-one environments.
• Advanced working knowledge in electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, or optical manufacturing.
• Familiar with NASA workmanship standards and QA processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures.
• Experience supporting workmanship training in soldering, harnessing, or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver complex technical training in one or more technical areas.
• Design curriculum for technical training programs supporting standards.
• Leverage templates and tools to implement instructor-led and multimedia learning.
• Partner with SMEs to customize and deliver internal course material.
• Deliver training across classroom, virtual, and blended modalities.
• Analyze learning needs and contribute to assessments and reports.
• Support organizational development activities related to training effectiveness.
• Mentor instructors, inspectors, and operators in skill development.
• Participate in institutional programs and training initiatives.
