Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Principal Learning & Development Specialist to design, develop, and deploy scalable training solutions across the Aeronautics Systems Sector. The role emphasizes instructional design, adult learning, and collaboration with subject matter experts to address critical workforce needs.

You will manage projects through the ADDIE lifecycle, create engaging training for both virtual and in-person delivery, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and security

Qualifications

• Experience developing and deploying training or technical development programs in corporate, military, or defense settings.
• Experience developing, implementing, or managing training management systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and Special Program Access as needed.
• Executive level presentation experience and proven proficiency.
• Experience facilitating in-person and/or virtual training.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop learning solutions using ADDIE and adult learning principles.
• Create measurable learning objectives and engaging instructional materials.
• Collaborate with SMEs to plan and sustain talent development solutions.
• Deliver virtual and in-person training sessions and workshops.
• Evaluate training effectiveness with surveys and assessments.
