Job summary

N C Machinery Co. in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Service Training Instructor to design, develop, and deliver technical training for the service department and regional customers.

The role ensures staff are well‑equipped to provide exceptional customer service and meet organizational standards and training goals. You will collaborate with the Corporate Training Director and Service Managers to tailor programs, deliver live and online sessions, and review evaluations to improve learning solutions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 4–6 years’ experience in a service department or similar work environment.
• Experience in developing and delivering training material is required.
• Must demonstrate intermediate level skills with Microsoft software to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Requires strong organizational skills, goal setting, and attention to detail maintaining accurate records.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, self‑motivated, and the ability to assess potential training needs.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Corporate Training Director and Service Managers/Supervisors and customers to identify training needs.
• Design and develop technical service training using various instructional methods and technologies.
• Provide technical service training through live, in-person and online sessions for ongoing development of employees and customers.
• Review post-training evaluations to determine course effectiveness and update materials accordingly.
• Coordinate logistics for travel, scheduling, and printing of training materials with the Training Administrative Assistant.
• Attend trainings and conferences to stay current with industry trends and technology.
• Travel to local and remote locations across the territory to provide training.
