Job summary

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc. is seeking a Technical Training Instructor to educate employees on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Caterpillar equipment and systems.

The role requires traveling within the territory to deliver comprehensive training across multiple sites. You will develop materials, lead classroom and hands-on sessions, and support online learning while collaborating with managers to tailor programs to our needs.

Qualifications

• Cat equipment knowledge and ability to explain concepts to others.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Develop and organize training materials.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and assess training needs with managers.
• Proficient with computers and learning tools.
• Create hands-on labs and training activities as required.
• Able to work independently.
• Willing to attend CIAP and become accredited.
• Travel across territory averaging 25% (up to 50% at times).
• 5–10 years of relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical training using classroom, hands-on, and online methods.
• Train Cleveland Brothers employees at multiple locations and occasionally customers.
• Develop training materials and hands-on labs.
• Collaborate with department managers to determine training needs.
