Job summary

Navstar Inc. seeks an experienced Instructional Designer to plan, develop, and implement comprehensive software training for online learners and customers.

You will craft design documents, storyboards, and learning artifacts, collaborating with senior designers and SMEs to deliver engaging curricula across delivery modes. Requirements include an active TS/SCI clearance, 9+ years in instructional design, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or equivalent with 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and integrate technical writing into training curriculum.
• Ability to manage development and communication of new concepts across departments.
• Demonstrated leadership in planning, scheduling, and coordinating workloads to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement software training programs for online learners and customers.
• Design, develop, implement, and evaluate training to meet objectives.
• Create design documents, storyboards, and learning artifacts for online and face-to-face delivery.
• Develop job aids, training videos, and other learning materials.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement curriculum.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and revise materials as needed.
