Job summary

Navstar is seeking a senior instructional designer to plan, develop, and implement software training programs for online learners and customers, with face-to-face sessions when required.

You will collaborate with the lead instructional designer and SMEs to create design documents, storyboards, and learning artifacts, develop job aids and training videos, and evaluate training effectiveness. Travel as needed; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Nine+ years of professional experience designing, developing, and implementing training online and face-to-face.
• Ability to read, analyze, interpret and integrate technical writing material into training curriculum.
• Lead and collaborate across departments to develop training concepts and solutions.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement software training programs for online learners/customers.
• Design, develop, implement, and evaluate training to ensure objectives are met.
• Collaborate with lead instructional designer and SMEs to create design documents, storyboards, and learning artifacts.
• Develop job aids, training videos, and other learning materials.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and revise materials as needed.
• Travel on an as-needed basis.
