Job summary

AMETEK Power Quality Solutions in Illinois is seeking a Technical Support Representative to provide accurate, solutions-focused assistance to customers, sales reps, and service partners. You will troubleshoot issues across products, document cases, and coordinate service activities.

The role includes scheduling field service, processing service and parts orders, and supporting projects. A two-year technical degree in electronics or related field is preferred; candidates pursuing related degrees

Qualifications

Two-year technical degree preferred; candidates pursuing related degrees may be considered.
Experience in delivering professional, solutions-oriented customer support is a plus.
Willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

Assess customer technical needs and provide clear troubleshooting guidance; document support cases.
Maintain knowledge of Power Quality Solutions products and services to offer accurate support.
Schedule and coordinate field service activities between customers and vendors.
Identify opportunities for preventative maintenance and on-site services.
Process orders for service, parts, and battery replacements.
Support projects as directed.
Participate in after-hours support rotation with additional pay.
