Job summary

Chroma Systems Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Technical Customer Support Engineer to deliver world-class technical support for ATE power measurement systems. You will diagnose issues, calibrate equipment, and provide on-site assistance as needed.

Based in Lake Forest, CA, you will respond to inquiries within set timeframes, learn Chroma products, and support customers and internal teams with advanced knowledge of PowerPro, Captivate, and related tools. Domestic travel required.

Qualifications

Two years of formal technical school in electricity/electronics required.
Five years of experience using AC power electronics or Battery Test Solutions OR Degree in Electronic Technology or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and adhere to procedures.

Responsibilities

Provide customer support on AC sources, DC sources, AC/DC loads, EST and Battery Test Systems.
Handle customer requests for assistance via phone or email to fully understand the issues.
Handle Web Chat Communications.
Perform troubleshooting and replication of customer setup to ascertain problem.
Read schematics and apply electronic theory to customer issues to resolve them.
Become proficient with PowerPro, Battery Pro, Battery Simulator and Captivate software.
Travel domestically for business needs (>10%).
Continuously review of process for improvement.
