Job summary

IBM Software is seeking a Technical Support Intern to join a global team that assists with IBM software solutions and client success. You will gain hands-on experience across IBM Software and Cloud while learning from industry experts and contributing to real-world client outcomes.

Responsibilities include resolving client product issues, creating knowledge articles, educating clients on usage, and collaborating with Engineering and Product teams to improve solutions.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, AI or related field.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for customer satisfaction.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Fluent in English.
• Basic understanding of troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Exposure to programming languages like Java and Python.

Responsibilities

• Drive resolution of client product issues with global support and engineering teams across IBM Software and Cloud.
• Analyze diagnostics, help optimize product usage and recommend solutions for customers to get the most out of their partnership with IBM.
• Create and update knowledge base articles to share insights.
• Educate clients on product usage and best practices.
• Work with Engineering and Product teams to improve IBM solutions.
• Participate in proactive support activities such as upgrade planning and product adoption.
• Learn how clients use IBM software products as building blocks within larger real-world solutions, including integrations across databases, directories, messaging, and other enterprise technologies.
