Job summary

IBM is seeking a Technical Support Professional Intern currently pursuing a degree in IT, Engineering, CS, or related fields. You will deliver high-quality remote tech support, troubleshoot complex issues, and coordinate with IBM SMEs across time zones.

You will gain hands-on exposure to AI initiatives (Watson), CRM platforms, TCP/IP networking, and other support processes while developing strong communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for debugging and understanding how operating systems and software/hardware work at a low level.
Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., C, C++, Python, or Java).
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-pressure situations.
Willingness to work across time zones and participate in global team collaboration.

Responsibilities

Resolve issues impacting IBM client business and enhance client experience.
Lead the problem resolution process through analysis and troubleshooting to minimize business impact.
Provide high-quality remote technical software, hardware, and problem management support.
Communicate action plans to the Client or IBM representative as appropriate.
Work on strategic IBM projects including Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Support Platform with SME guidance.
