Job summary

Vultr is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our global Technical Support team. You will provide advanced technical support for Vultr’s cloud infrastructure and services, acting as an escalation point for complex issues and guiding both customers and internal teams through troubleshooting and resolution.

You will respond to platform alerts, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence, while coordinating with multiple internal groups.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in enterprise technical support or similar advanced role.
• Strong Linux systems experience with advanced CLI usage.
• Experience with enterprise networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical guidance for Vultr products and services.
• Act as first responder to platform-level alerts and incidents, assess impact and troubleshoot.
• Lead complex incident analyses, perform root cause investigations, and propose preventive actions.
• Coordinate with system administration, engineering, networking and other teams to resolve outages.
• Create and maintain internal documentation and support procedures.
