Electric Machinery Company., a division of WEG Electric Corp., Minneapolis, Minnesota, seeks a Technical Support Service Engineer to support motor, generator, and control products and process warranty claims.

Responsibilities include interfacing with engineering, commercial, and quality teams to resolve service requests, analyze field data, and deliver client training related to EM products. Requires a B.S. in engineering and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Demonstrated sense of urgency to affect timely response and resolution to customer requests.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and proven ability to effectively deal with difficult customers.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including direction of technical and non-technical staff and customers.
• Demonstrated ability to keep multiple tasks and activities coordinated, prioritized, documented, and in motion.
• Demonstrated capability for social interface with internal and external customers as required, achieving customer satisfaction excellence.
• Computer literate with knowledge of SAP, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical support to customers interfacing with engineering, commercial, and quality teams.
• Resolve service requests and promote strong customer relationships.
• Analyze field data, recommend corrective action, and write service reports for warranty work.
• Coordinate inspection, analysis, and disposition of returned equipment and parts.
• Liaise between sales, customers, users, and factory for technical information.
• Deliver client training pertaining to EM products and services.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
