Job summary

Electric Machinery Company LLC. is seeking a Technical Support Service Engineer to provide technical support for motors, generators, controls, and related WEG products.

The role includes creating and processing warranty claims and interfacing with engineering, sales, and quality teams. Responsibilities include resolving service requests, analyzing field data, coordinating inspections, and delivering training on EM products.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Demonstrated sense of urgency to affect timely response and resolution to customer requests.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and proven ability to effectively deal with difficult customers.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including direction of technical and non-technical staff and customers.
• Demonstrated ability to keep multiple tasks and activities coordinated, prioritized, documented, and in motion or progress at one time.
• Demonstrated capability for social interface with internal and external customers as required, achieving customer satisfaction excellence.
• Computer literate with knowledge of current operating systems and software common to business applications including SAP, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers, interfacing with the engineering, commercial, and quality teams as necessary.

• Organize and coordinate inspection, analysis, and disposition of returned equipment, parts, and material.
• Be a liaison between the sales force, customers, users, and factory, providing technical information and assistance to sales offices, customers, and users.
• Deliver client training pertaining to EM products and services.
• Other duties may be assigned by management to meet business needs.

Physical Requirements

• Physical ability to travel freely within manufacturing and office facilities
• Climbing stairs and moving over, around, and about shop machinery and in-process apparatus in a safe manner
• Ability to climb a ladder, use scaffolding or catwalks to service machinery
• Ability and willingness to wear fall protection equipment
• Physical ability to lift and carry 25 pounds
• Physical ability to travel via public, commercial or personal transportation
• Must possess an insurable driver’s license and a valid Passport or be able to obtain a Passport

Pay: $80,000 - $90,000
