Job summary

Vultr in Vermont is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our global customer success team. You will provide advanced technical support for Vultr’s products and infrastructure, diagnosing complex issues and guiding customers through resolution.

You will mentor teammates, participate in 24/7 operations, and contribute to process improvements and documentation while helping enterprise environments achieve high reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in enterprise tech support.
• Experience with Linux systems and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical guidance on Vultr products.
• Act as first responder to platform alerts, assess impact, and escalate as needed.
• Lead incident analysis, root-cause investigations, and preventive recommendations.
• Coordinate with sysadmin, engineering, and networking teams to resolve outages.
• Document procedures and maintain knowledge base for the team.
• Mentor junior staff and support enterprise environments in a 24/7 operations setting.
