Job summary

Vultr is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our global customer success team. You will provide advanced technical support for Vultr’s cloud products and infrastructure, serving as an escalation point and guiding both customers and internal teams through complex platform issues.

You will work with system administrators, engineering, and networking teams, mentoring junior staff and helping enterprise environments run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise technical support or similar advanced support role (3+ years).
• Strong experience with Linux systems and command-line tooling for troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of troubleshooting methodologies for complex issues.
• Experience with enterprise networking concepts to diagnose platform-level issues.
• Experience supporting enterprise cloud/infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical guidance on Vultr products and services, including complex issues.
• Act as first responder to platform-level alerts and incidents; assess impact and troubleshoot.
• Lead incident analysis, perform root cause investigations, and recommend preventive actions.
• Coordinate with system admins, engineering, networking, and other teams to resolve platform problems.
• Create and maintain internal documentation and support procedures.
• Assist in maintaining enterprise customer environments and diagnose performance issues.
• Mentor junior team members and support enterprise customers in 24/7 operations.
