The University of Richmond seeks a Technical Support Consultant to deliver desktop and mobile device support to faculty, staff, and students. You will handle walk-up help desk and call center tickets, and provide field services as needed.

The role includes weekend on-call coverage and rotating primary duties with teammates. You will repair and diagnose printer, copier, and scanner hardware and support AI-enabled features within enterprise apps.

Formación

• Able to interact directly with customers face-to-face.
• Ability to analyze complex computer problems.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Strong organizational skills.
• A+ Hardware/OS certification expected on hire.
• Ability to install, repair and diagnose printer/copier/scanner hardware.

Responsabilidades

• Provide service desk support at walk-up and call center for faculty, staff, and students.
• Handle service tickets and field service requests; cover weekend on-call rotation.
• Provide AI-enabled productivity tool support and guidance for authorized AI technologies.
• Assist with setup, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.
• rotate primary duties with other Technical Support Consultants.
