PRN Medical Laboratory Recovery Center in Austin, TX is seeking a Technical Specialist (Recovery Center) to ensure accurate collection, preparation, and processing of patient specimens while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining lab protocols.

The role acts as the primary liaison between clinic staff and the laboratory, coordinates specimen documentation, and helps with timely reporting and compliance in a fast-paced recovery setting.

Formación

• Effective communication with patients and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Instruct patients on specimen collection procedures.
• Collect and process urine, oral fluid, and blood specimens as applicable.
• Label specimens accurately and prepare for transport.
• Maintain shipping logs and documentation.
• Serve as liaison between clinic staff and laboratory.
• Ensure timely reporting of test results.
• Assist with billing information collection.
