Austin Regional Clinic is seeking a Phlebotomist to obtain blood specimens from patients of all ages and to process orders and specimens following lab policies. The role emphasizes safety, confidentiality and professional customer service in a hospital-like clinic setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy training or experience, and good communication and teamwork skills to support Providers and the lab team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; phlebotomy class preferred.
• Completion of phlebotomy class or at least one year of phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect laboratory specimens from patients of all ages.
• Process orders and specimens according to protocol.
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA and company policies; ensure confidentiality.
