Qualifications

• 2+ years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience in startups or high-growth environments.
• Proven success engaging and closing passive, senior technical candidates in competitive markets.
• Experience sourcing top technical talent at premier technology company or high-growth startup.
• Curious about robotics, ML and infrastructure; able to discuss technical work credibly.
• Excellent written outreach that gets replies among many messages.
• Ability to manage multiple complex searches in parallel with high quality.
• High ownership, self-direction; able to build processes from scratch.
• Passion for research and mapping components of sourcing; it is a long game.

Responsibilities

• Build and run sourcing strategies for technical roles across research, ML and data infrastructure.
• Proactively identify, engage and build relationships with passive candidates through channels like LinkedIn, GitHub, conferences, author lists, labs and university pages.
• Partner with founders and hiring managers to translate role requirements into precise sourcing criteria and market guidance.
• Write and iterate outreach messaging that stands out to senior researchers and engineers not actively job-hunting.
• Own and improve the top-of-funnel pipeline: track metrics, test channels, optimize conversion.
• Maintain an organized, current pipeline and provide a fast, high-quality candidate experience from initial touch to interview handoff.
• Develop creative strategies to surface non-traditional and early-career talent.
• Keep a live field map of labs, graduation timings, and research activity for targeting.
