Job summary

HireArt is seeking a Technical Sourcer to join its recruiting team in Foster City, CA. You will partner with senior recruiters supporting AI/ML, autonomy, robotics, perception, software engineering, and related technical teams to build competitive pipelines and engage top candidates.

The role emphasizes strategic sourcing, candidate engagement, and detailed screening, with hybrid onsite requirements for local candidates.

Qualifications

4+ years in technical sourcing, recruiting, or talent-pipeline development.
Experience sourcing for AI/ML, robotics, autonomy, software engineering, or related technical engineering roles.
Strong LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search experience.
Ability to evaluate candidates for technical and behavioral alignment at a high level.
Excellent written communication and live note-taking during candidate screens.
Ability to travel domestically if needed.
Experience collaborating with recruiters, hiring managers, and senior technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute sourcing strategies for AI/ML, autonomy, robotics, software engineering, and related technical roles.
Build targeted pipelines for IC engineering positions, primarily supporting hiring efforts.
Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers on active searches, pipeline strategy, talent market insights, and candidate engagement approaches.
Conduct candidate outreach, resume reviews, and high-level candidate screens to evaluate technical alignment, experience, motivation, and overall fit.
Write detailed candidate summaries and screening notes during live candidate conversations.
Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search strategies, Gem, Lever, and other sourcing tools to identify and engage top technical talent.
Support quality-focused sourcing efforts centered on highly qualified, specialized candidate pipelines rather than high-volume outreach.
Research technical talent communities beyond traditional sourcing channels, including Google Scholar, research publications, academic labs, CVPR, ICRA, and related engineering or AI research communities.
Participate in recruiter syncs, hiring manager meetings, candidate prep activities, and pipeline strategy discussions during onboarding and ramp-up.
Partner effectively with recruiters, hiring managers, directors, and senior technical stakeholders throughout the hiring process.
