Job summary

Emergent Holdings seeks a Learning and Development Trainer to deliver operational and soft skills training. You will design materials, run trainings for groups or individuals, and evaluate outcomes to improve performance. Expect PM duties, travel for training up to 20%, and collaboration with leaders and SMEs.

Minimum 5 years in education/training or 3 years in workers’ compensation training with public speaking and content development experience; project management is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Learning and Development, Organizational Development, Communications, Education, Business, or related field.
• Progress toward or completion of industry-recognised professional designation preferred.
• Five years in education or training with PM and analytics experience.
• Three years in workers’ compensation training with public speaking.
• Project management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and facilitates training to groups, managers, external customers and/or on-the-job training.
• Designs and develops training programs and training materials.
• Evaluates training and conducts follow-up sessions as needed.
• Plans, schedules and monitors training events.
• Assesses training needs and creates effective implementation plans.
