Job summary

Preferred Materials, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Learning and Development Manager to design and deliver leadership training across Florida. The role requires presenting to diverse audiences, managing the LMS, and leveraging data to measure training impact.

You will lead instructor-led, virtual, and blended programs, collaborating with Operations, Safety, and HR to drive employee growth and organizational readiness. Travel about 35–40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, Facilitation, Organizational Development, or related fields.
• Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Assess organizational training and development needs and implement effective learning solutions.
• Design and facilitate engaging instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning programs.
• Travel extensively throughout Florida to conduct training sessions, leadership workshops, and business meetings at multiple operating locations.
• Develop leadership, onboarding, compliance, safety, technical, and professional development programs.
• Manage and enhance the Learning Management System (LMS) and training records.
• Create and maintain training metrics, dashboards, and reports using Excel, Power BI, and other business tools.
• Partner with leaders to drive employee development, performance improvement, and organizational readiness.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and continuously improve learning experiences.
