Job summary

Worley Group, Inc. is seeking a Technical Services Manager in the United States to bridge strategic objectives with practical execution. You will lead technical service functions, guide multidisciplinary teams, and ensure delivery of projects in energy, chemicals, and resources sectors.

You will oversee processes, drive continuous improvement, and build strong customer relationships while maintaining safety and quality standards across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in leadership, project management, technical, operational, or supervisory roles.
• Proven success leading teams within EPC, energy, chemicals, resources or related environments.
• Strong understanding of project delivery, governance, and business processes.
• Ability to make independent decisions and manage priorities in dynamic environments.
• Experience managing significant portions of large projects and delivering performance.
• Advanced knowledge of systems, tools, processes and technologies related to technical services.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate data, draw conclusions, and implement solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Leadership capability in coaching and developing people and driving accountability.
• Conflict resolution, change management and influencing skills.
• Commitment to operational excellence, safety leadership and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical services teams and manage day-to-day operations to support project objectives.
• Translate business strategy into tactical plans and measurable outcomes.
• Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams across engineering and delivery functions.
• Manage project-related processes, policies, and procedures to align with standards.
• Support planning, execution and successful delivery of projects balancing safety, quality, schedule, cost and performance.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives focused on productivity and standardization.
• Evaluate complex issues, perform analysis, and implement practical solutions.
• Lead and develop supervisors and project teams to maximize engagement and performance.
• Build relationships with customers, stakeholders and leaders to enable collaboration.
• Prepare and present proposals, business cases, reports and technical recommendations to leadership and customers.
• Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve delivery and outcomes.
• Support resource planning, workforce development, and succession planning.
• Facilitate effective communication, resolve conflicts and influence decisions across stakeholders.
• Champion safety, quality, compliance, and sustainability while focusing on customer satisfaction.
